We recently got a Samsung Frame TV and instead of purchasing a frame (for hundreds of dollars), we decided to make our own! It was super easy to make and so much more reasonable than buying one. We started by picking out this pretty wood trim from Lowes. I loved the detailing on it, and knew it would look amazing as a frame.

I used a miter trim cutter to cut the corners of the trim, then put a little wood glue on them before nailing them together.

I used a finishing nail gun to fasten the frame together, then cut four pieces of elastic banding and stapled them onto each corner of the frame.

This made it so easy to attach to the TV. I simply pulled the elastic bands behind each corner of the TV and we were good to go! It looks so seamless, and you can hardly even tell the bands are there. I didn't get a photo of it, but I spray painted the frame gold using this spray paint from ACE Hardware and I loved how it turned out!

There were so many options of wood trim to choose from, so I encourage you to go check it out if you want to tackle this DIY TV frame for yourself because it really was so easy and affordable!

Because we already had the tools, this DIY TV frame cost us less than $30, which is hundreds of dollars less than we would have spent if we bought a premade one.
10/10, completely worth it!
